They work with over 1000 businesses and have been featured in The Globe and Mail, betakit, and BBN Bloomberg. They are one of Toronto's fastest growing start-ups and are looking for Business Development Representatives to join their sales team!
- Reporting to the CEO!
- Responsible for rigorously prospecting new business by making outbound calls, sending emails, and utilizing social selling techniques to meet and exceed daily goal of 100 activities per day
- Assessing the needs and potential of prospects to determine their fit, qualifying leads for the Account Executive team
- Collaborating with their team to execute strategies that build and continuously replenish a robust sales pipeline with high-quality leads
- Keeping a finger on the pulse of the market to identify new opportunities and understand the competitive landscape
- Working in tandem with the marketing team to refine lead generation tactics
- Maintaining detailed records of activities and interactions in our CRM system to ensure seamless transition of qualified leads to Account Executives
- Acting as a key feedback mechanism to the sales and product teams, sharing insights from client interactions to help Loop evolve its offerings and sales approach
- Playing a crucial role in expanding market reach and achieving company revenue goals
- Onsite role - office located in downtown Toronto
Requirements
Previous experience in sales or a strong desire to enter the sales field, with phone or door-to-door sales
experience being a plus.
- Experience working in a start-up and wearing multiple hats is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and effective messages.
- A tenacious attitude with the resilience to handle rejection and maintain a positive outlook when reaching
potential clients.
Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of leads and multitask effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
- Comfortable using or learning CRM systems and sales automation tools to maximize efficiency.
- A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Motivated by exceeding targets, with a proven track record of consistently over-achieving quota.
- Ability to analyze data to track the effectiveness of outreach efforts and make necessary adjustments.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
