Job Requirements
Education and Experience :
While formal education isn’t always required, having a high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
Previous experience operating a bundle lift is preferred however not required.
Previous experience in an industrial setting is an asset.
Skills and Abilities :
Understanding the controls, safety features, and maintenance requirements is crucial.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to adhere to all safety policies and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
Previous experience operating a bundle lift is preferred however not required.
Certifications and Licenses :
Valid driver’s license is highly preferred.
Valid first aid level 3 certificate or willingness to be put through the course will be given priority in hiring process.
Additional Requirements :
Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends, and overtime as needed.
Completion of pre-employment screening processes, reference check, prior work verification.
Ability to make it to and from work on a daily basis.
Responsibilities :
Operating log bundle lift to dewater bundles.
Greasing and fueling of bundle lift.
Regularly inspecting equipment to ensure they are defect-free and in good working order.
Always maintain a clean work area.
Cross-train in other areas as required.
