Under the direction of the PICA Sales & Business Development Manager, this position will research, identify, and connect with potential new candidates for the PICA business, and will provide sales support to the PICA sales team.
Sales Support
- Acts as liaison and is responsible for entering and following the process of orders from conception to completion
- Ensures accuracy and provides quality communication to both the salesperson and the client
- Maintains internal reports, including overdue shipments, expediting reports, quote reports
- Updates Purchase and Sales order
- Develops and documents sales reports for key accounts
- Maintains and updates relevant sales databases, client records and sales lists
- Provides administrative support to sales team including but not limited to; project and vendor research, providing reps marketing materials
- Works with Clients via telephone, email and possibly Teams / Zoom meetings
- Update Business Proposal Log, ensuring up to date records are kept of each proposal sent to various clients
- Assist Manager / other management with writing business proposals / editing business proposals before they are sent to clients
- Update weekly utilization report
- Prepare project status reports / management reports
- Update and articulate data from resource loading report
- Track revenue and status of sales opportunities, understand the peak times of business and monitor capacity rates
PICA Sales Development
- Research potential new clients for PICA business and presents to PICA Sales & Business Development Manager for vetting
- Contact vetted potential clients, introducing to the PICA offer and services with the intent to sign on new clients

- A self-starter with the ability to work independently without a significant supervision
- Experience dealing with people via telephone, email and online meetings
- Works with quotas to grow sales
- Demonstrates patience in dealing with both business clients and team members
- Communicates in a friendly, engaged and positive fashion

- Handles workload at a solid pace, and superior skills in speed and accuracy

Software Application and Technical Knowledge :
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite – Office Professional, Sharepoint, Visio, MS Project, etc.
- Proficiency with Monday.com, GoldMine CRM, AccPac Accounting ERP, FileMaker Pro Database manager and Photoshop Illustrator is a considered an asset
