We are seeking a Process Engineer based out of our Toronto Office, working in a hybrid schedule.
Reporting to DRA’s Vice President Process Engineering, you will be responsible for responsible for the Process engineering and discipline project design activities relating to Concept, Pre-feasibility, Feasibility Studies, EPCM and EPC projects.
Responsibilities :
Main functions include (but not limited to) :
- Design Engineering
- Technical Support
- Site Support
- Commissioning
- Reporting and Documentation
Responsible for flow sheet development for mineral processing plants which includes.
- Development of Process Design Criteria (PDC)
- Mass-water balance calculations
- Process Modeling
- Specification and supervision support for metallurgical test-work programs for process design
- P&ID development
- Develop preliminary specifications and equipment sizing.
- Development of Mechanical Equipment Lists (MEL)
- Technical adjudication of vendor supply packages
- Support process requirements during commissioning
Requirements :
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role within the multi-disciplinary EPCM environment
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical or metallurgical engineering
