Performance Marketing Specialist

Canadian Down & Feather Company is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to develop, execute, and optimize all programmatic media campaigns.

The ideal candidate is experienced, but open-minded and flexible to manage campaigns in ways that may differ from commonly accepted best practices and norms.

Canadian Down & Feather Company is a Canadian manufacturer of down, feather, and down alternative bedding products. We are a digital-first company that endeavors to provide the best product and customer experience.

The Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for :

Campaign Development :

  • Planning data-driven paid media campaigns across multiple markets according to company goals and brand guidelines.
  • Planning for launches and testing in new markets.
  • Working collaboratively with internal e-commerce and marketing teams, as well as external partners to identify opportunities, develop roadmaps, and design campaigns that align with brand strategy and support a seamless experience across channels.
  • Ensuring the brand is represented well and consistently across all platforms.
  • Preparing to launch ad hoc strategic campaigns in response to consumer trends and market changes.
  • Remaining ahead of the curve, with a pulse on the latest trends in digital marketing and advertising.

Campaign Execution and Management :

  • Performing day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of ongoing campaigns.
  • Troubleshooting issues with campaign delivery, display, functionality, or reporting.
  • Working within allocated budgets, scaling spend accordingly.

Testing and Optimization :

  • Striving for continuous performance improvement.
  • Developing and implement testing strategies, including creative, copy and keyword testing, audience segmentation, and retargeting strategies.
  • Using A / B testing to confirm hypotheses.
  • Optimizing for the ideal ROAS, a positive ROI, and the generation of cost-effective, high quality leads.

Analytics and Reporting :

  • Defining and measuring KPI’s.
  • Building and automating dashboards and reporting to monitor performance.
  • Compiling, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Ensuring data integrity and proper tracking, tagging and attribution.

A successful Performance Marketing Specialist :

  • Has hands-on performance marketing experience in an in-house or agency setting for CPG companies.
  • Has in-platform Google AdWords and Amazon Ads experience.
  • Has experience with PPC campaign execution, reporting and day-to-day optimization (search, display, social).
  • Has strong organization and record-keeping skills.
  • Understands best SEO practices, especially as they relate to supporting the success of paid campaigns.
  • Has a strong grasp of web analytics, A / B testing, metrics-driven marketing, and SEM.
  • Is proactive and self-motivated.
  • Is attentive to detail and can multitask in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively synthesize and articulate findings, hypotheses, and rationales.
  • Has strong quantitative analysis skills.
