Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support senior estimators and project managers in planning, estimating, and managing sewer, water, excavation and roadworks projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow their skills in the construction and infrastructure industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
  • Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers to develop project budgets and schedules.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain detailed records of project estimates, budgets, and schedules.
  • Support project managers in overseeing project execution and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in estimating or project management is an asset but not required.
