Audio Visual Project Coordinator, w / full benefit package plus yearly bonus

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Working under the direction of the Operations Manager in conjunction with the Project Managers, provide administrative support to this function : create quotations, work orders, invoices, and deal with issues related to the execution of work at job sites.
Plan and coordinate the activities of subcontractors at various locations across Canada. Monitor the progress of work, ensuring timely completion.
Where required, work directly with the customer to determine his / her requirements. Upon completion of the work arrange for all final documentation, issue invoices, and follow-up regarding collection.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within an audio visual, structured cabling, electrical and / or telecommunications environment.
- Must have excellent experience with the formation and administration of contracts.
- Must have a strong experience with information gathering of client requirements including equipment & materials lists and preparation of detailed documents & preparation of proposals
- Create work orders, perform scheduling, invoicing, progress reports, dispatch technicians
- Facilitate strong & clear communication between Project Managers, clients & internal teams
- Requires familiarity with building construction and blueprints
REQUIREMENTS :
- Associate degree or equivalent with equivalent or relevant experience : design, project management, data or voice communications drafting.
- Requires pleasant personality with a positive attitude - and the ability to remain calm when encountering difficult customer-related situations.
- Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to act on own initiative and take action to solve problems within the limits of the function.
- Requires the ability to write informative documents (letters, proposals, e-mails).
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Must be a team player.
