What will you do?
Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role :
- With the guidance of the Property Director, establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the onsite 3rd party Property Management (PM) teams, by responding to all requests in a prompt and courteous manner;
- Act as intermediary between the Dream Accounting team and the onsite 3rd party Property Management (PM) teams for accounting related tasks.
- Provide first level support for onsite PM teams with respect to Coupa and VersaPay applications and escalate as required;
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly tenant billings through the monthly rent roll reconciliations and rent rolls processing;
- Application of receipts to tenant accounts & preparation of tenant statements as required.
- Review and approve requisitions and invoices for payment;
- Prepare, review, and distribute accounts receivable reports.
- Prepare monthly 3rd party PM fees and distribute to PMs; review status of payments.
- Review open PO reports weekly and work with onsite PM teams to take necessary action.
- Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned.
- Participate in monthly operational / financial review meetings.
What type of experience do you have?
These are some of the things we would like you to bring to the table :
- At least 3+ years’ general administrative experience in a property management environment;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver against tight deadlines;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office : Excel and Word;
- Strong people skills with ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
It is considered an asset if you have experience in the following areas :
- Experience with U.S. portfolios;
- Industrial property management experience;
