Job Title : WEEKEND SCHEDULING ASSISTANT | #1962

Service Area : Scheduling

Location : Richmond, BC

Start Date : March 1, 2025

Term / Status : Permanent Part Time

Schedule / Hours : Saturday 6 : 00-14 : 00 / / 7.5 hours per week

Hourly Wage : $28.25 as per Collective Agreement

THE ROLE :

The Scheduling Assistant assigns on-call shifts on a daily basis, and assists in the coordination of scheduling for the Client Services Department.

REQUIREMENTS :

Education & Experience :

Minimum certificate or diploma related to Staff Scheduling.
Minimum one year experience in similar position or related duties.
Proficient in MS Office, and intranet applications; Staff Scheduling systems an asset;
Experience with shift management and staff scheduling activities is preferred.
Detail-oriented with accurate processing of data and ability to detect irregularities.
Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language.
Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidence.
Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.

Standard requirements of the Weekend Scheduling Assistant include :

Criminal Record Clearance

Medical Clearance

Demonstrated competency in English

Basic computer literacy

Eligible to work in Canada
