You will bring order to complexity, helping define and track deliverables, drive prioritization, align stakeholders, and escalate blockers. This role is both tactical and strategic : you'll facilitate execution on the ground while helping technical leadership drive programs that meet Rayleigh's commercial and product goals.
Responsibilities
What You'll DoDrive Program Execution & CadenceOwn and continuously improve weekly execution rhythms for cross-functional teams, including sprint planning, reviews, risk assessments, and milestone tracking.Work closely with technical leads to break large programs into trackable workstreams, assign ownership, and track progress toward technical deliverables.Clarify Goals & DependenciesHelp teams articulate "what success looks like" across experiments, milestones, and manufacturing integration steps.Surface and track interdependencies between teams and systems; pre-empt schedule slips and interface risks.Align Cross-Functional TeamsAct as the glue between R&D, scale-up, testing, manufacturing, and leadership to keep program priorities aligned.Drive resolution of cross-team blockers by getting the right people in the room, fast.Track Progress with ClarityMaintain dashboards and documentation to communicate the status of technical programs, risks, and decisions.Develop and update Gantt charts, OKRs, and execution trackers in collaboration with technical owners.Support Program Strategy & PrioritizationPartner with leadership to align execution with long-term product, scale-up, and commercial goals.Help manage decision logs, trade-off documentation, and rationale for program pivots.Drive Cultural Norms of Ownership & FocusEmbed a culture of urgency, transparency, and follow-through. Be a champion of structured problem-solving and high-accountability execution.Help teams stay focused on goals, not tasks, and drive closure on high-priority work.
Qualifications
What You BringProgram Management Expertise8+ years of experience in technical program management in a high-growth, hardware or advanced manufacturing company. Experience in solar, batteries, semiconductors, or robotics is a strong plus.Technical FluencyBackground in engineering, applied physics, materials science, or equivalent. You understand technical conversations and can help teams prioritize work based on both technical and strategic context.Execution ExcellenceDemonstrated ability to drive execution across multiple teams and programs simultaneously. You know how to get things done and make the trains run on time without being heavy-handed.Organizational Systems ThinkingDeep comfort with ambiguity and complexity. You can connect technical details to program goals, uncover hidden blockers, and guide teams toward clarity.Communication & InfluenceExcellent communicator, facilitator, and listener.
