Our client, is seeking a seasoned, results-driven Contractor, Data Management and Reporting Services to join their core data analytics and governance group.

In this strategic, high-visibility role, you will spearhead the development and execution of enterprise data management, business intelligence, and reporting strategies. Working closely with cross-functional business stakeholders, executive leaders, and IT engineering squads, you will oversee data quality frameworks, build complex interactive dashboards, and empower end-users through self-service analytics tools. The ideal candidate pairs 10+ years of deep financial services domain expertise with expert-level mastery of Tableau, data visualization storytelling, and robust data governance frameworks to drive informed decision-making across the enterprise.

Duration: 12-Month Contract (with high potential for extension)

Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Engineering: Design, build, and deploy clear, intuitive, and interactive dashboards and scorecards supporting executive leadership and operational stakeholders.

Data Visualization & Storytelling: Translate complex datasets into compelling visual narratives and actionable insights to engage stakeholders and guide strategic business outcomes.

User Empowerment & Training: Provide tools, training, and BI access (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to foster a culture of self-service analytics across business units.

Data Governance & Quality Standards: Establish data governance frameworks, maintain enterprise data dictionaries, and enforce business rules to ensure source-to-target data consistency, accuracy, and auditability.

IT Collaboration & Service Management: Partner with IT engineering teams to troubleshoot source system issues, optimize data feeds, and align IT service delivery with business requirements.

Change Management & Project Leadership: Lead data transformation initiatives, manage project timelines, and guide cross-functional teams through organizational transitions.



Qualifications
Financial Industry Depth: 10+ years of progressive experience operating within financial institutions, with deep domain expertise in banking operations, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.

Advanced Tableau Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Tableau, with a proven track record of designing, building, and deploying complex, interactive dashboards and enterprise reports.

Data Management & Analytics: Expert knowledge in collecting, organizing, profiling, and analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to support business decisions.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management: Demonstrated ability to partner with diverse stakeholder groups, lead change initiatives, and deliver technical projects on time and within budget.

Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong ability to articulate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical business partners.

Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Familiarity with additional BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).

Hands-on knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL) and data lineage tools.
