Job description

About Us

Sweat, recover, connect: Sweat and Tonic (S&T) brings the best of boutique fitness and wellness under one roof. S&T is Toronto's leading boutique fitness and wellness hub, offering the widest collection of group fitness classes in Canada. From complimentary full-service amenities and an unparalleled range of yoga, Pilates, HIIT, indoor cycling, HYROX, and Lagree Megaformer classes powered by top-of-the-line fitness equipment, custom-programmed lighting, immersive projection screens and state-of-the-art sound systems, to premium spa, recovery and high-tech biohacking amenities - every aspect of S&T has been designed to deliver a best-in-class experience with a hospitality approach. With premium spa facilities, café, and bar offerings, members can recharge, recover, and reignite. Tonic House, the multi-functional lounge, workspace and event venue, inspires collaboration and innovation. Since opening in 2019, S&T has innovated and expanded state-of-the art classes across multiple channels: In-studio, Sweat in the Park, Sweat Live, Sweat on Demand, and Sweat on the Roof – a one-of-a-kind, outdoor rooftop fitness studio in the heart of downtown Toronto. In spring 2023, S&T opened its first international sister location, Silver Springs, a boutique yoga and Pilates oasis in the heart of Los Angeles, and opened its second location in Toronto at The Well in December 2023. S&T expanded the brand in June 2025 with a new concept studio, Reformd - the world’s largest-capacity Lagree studio, and will be bringing a fourth location in Toronto’s prestigious Yorkville neighbourhood in 2026. S&T was the recipient of the 2023 Mariana Tek Lasting Community Award, 2023 ClassPass Best Studio Award, and the Mariana Tek Best of Boutique Fitness Awards for 2024 and 2025, recognizing the highest studio attendance and commitment to innovation and excellence.

Lead the future of RIDE at S&T

We’re looking for a high-performing leader who can sweat the details, push the boundaries, and shape the future of the RIDE Studio across all S&T locations. • Own schedule performance & integrity, instructor coverage, and studio operations & readiness
  • Uphold operational procedures and performance expectations across all RIDE Studio programming
  • Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring & tracking of KPIs and quality measures, addressing opportunities and solving challenges proactively
  • Partner with the Manager of Fitness Operations to align RIDE Studio performance with financial and guest experience goals

Instructor & Talent Leadership

  • Oversee recruitment, auditions, onboarding, and development of RIDE instructors to ensure alignment with S&T brand expectations
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to support instructor growth
  • Perform structured class audits at a performance-based cadence to ensure execution of brand standards and guest experience, maintain connection, and accelerate development
  • Run regular instructor meetings and trainings to drive quality, consistency and connection
  • Cultivate a supportive, unified instructor culture anchored in S&T values

Programming & Experience Development

  • Design, evolve, and codify RIDE Studio programming to ensure consistency in standards and delivery across classes and instructors
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Events teams to develop workshops, themed classes, and community-building initiatives

  • Work in partnership with other Heads of Studio to optimize business performance and company goals, align standards, elevate instructor performance, and maintain an exceptional guest experience.
  • Provide daily updates, insights, and recommendations to the Director of Fitness and Manager of Fitness Operations
  • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Events teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of initiatives.

Leadership & Culture

  • Teach classes as appropriate to business needs and priorities, using teaching moments to model excellence and lead by example
  • Champion the S&T brand, team values, and guest experience, ensuring every class reflects the brand’s mission and standards
  • Monitor FitGrid ratings, guest feedback, and NPS to identify strengths and improvement opportunities
