What will your typical day look like?

This role will provide you the opportunity to sharpen your technical, analytical and business skills as part of an experienced team committed to delivering excellent service for clients. You will play an active role throughout the project lifecycle (e.g., solution analysis and development, programming, configuration, testing) while working on crafting and building customer journeys using Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer.


Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements, and design solutions using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to meet their needs.
  • Implement AJO and configure its capabilities including data ingestion, data modeling, segmentation, personalization, setting up customer journeys and integrating the solution with other systems.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for data management, including data classification, data retention, and data privacy.
  • Build data models, as well as configure data schemas in AEP ensuring the proper mapping of classes, field groups, identities, and attributes.
  • Apply data quality rules and validate data quality.
  • Leverage AEP’s APIs and SDKs to stream data from different application connectors.
  • Implement Journey Optimizer features like journey orchestration, triggers, automations, actions, messages, and offers.
  • Create AJO Events, design email templates in AJO, create and delegate Email Subdomains, set up and define an IP warming strategy, create IP Pools. set up channel surfaces, perform IP warming activities in AJO.
  • Perform proactive problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues related to AEP and AJO. This includes identifying and resolving data integration issues, ensuring proper data synchronization, and resolving system errors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in implementing and creating journeys in marketing automation solutions
  • Proven experience in implementing Adobe Experience Platform or similar customer data management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, data integration, and data governance.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products, such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of initiative and ownership.
  • Experience working with Offer Decisioning and creating personalized offers by developing placements, eligibility rules and decisions, as well as familiarity with prioritizing and ranking offers for a given placement.

We also value candidates with one or more of the following skillsets (don’t hesitate to apply if you have knowledge in these areas!):

  • Fluency in French is a bonus point.
  • Experience in multiple web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
  • Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as strong skills in querying datasets, implementing data transformations, cleansing data, etc.
  • Experience in building data intensive applications and big data processing pipeline
  • Hands-on experience developing custom applications, workflows and integrations using Adobe Experience Platform APIs and SDKs
  • Experience working with Adobe launch and events forwarding.
  • Experience in the following:
  • Setting up source connectors and ingesting data using the AEP API and UI Configuring Experience Events (XDM schemas) for capturing data from sources.
  • Creating audience segments using custom and AI/ML-based segments.
  • Triggering journeys and data activations based on segments and profiles.
  • Integrating with destinations like CRM, email, etc.
  • Hands-on experience developing using the Adobe Experience Platform APIs and SDKs in a language like:
  • JavaScript for API calls
  • Java for extending functionality with custom connectors or applications.
  • Experience automating technical tasks using tools like: API integration tests, Postman for API testing, Git for source control.
  • Experience creating html templates, journeys, events and offers in AJO.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and optimizing custom server-side applications.
  • Experience with defining and executing IP warming and IP allowlisting strategy IP warming.

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
