Qualicare Hamilton Homecar e is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Support Workers (PSWs) in London and the surrounding areas. At Qualicare Hamilton, we are committed to delivering home care services that enhance the quality of life for our clients while providing peace of mind to their families.

Job Summary
The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene
  • Meal Preparation
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Accompany clients on outings
  • Shopping and errands
  • Medication Assist/ Reminders
  • Ambulation and transporting of clients
  • Provide companionship to clients
  • Ability to follow care-plan
  • Documentation/Charting
Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent, required
  • Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
  • Current vaccination records, including proof of a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Vulnerable Sector Screen
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from client's residences within geographical area
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with clients
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Access to Internet/mobile phone
  • Passion for making a difference in your community
