Job description

We are seeking a DevOps / Cloud Engineer with strong Azure Cloud expertise to build, maintain, and enhance cloud environments using Kubernetes (AKS), container-based virtualization, automation in Azure DevOps, and secure microservices architectures. This role focuses on designing robust, scalable solutions, ensuring data protection, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvements, advanced integrations, and high-impact digital products.

Responsibilities

Cloud Design & Support : Architect and manage medium to high sensitivity digital products in Azure, ensuring quality, security, and best practices.

Monitoring & Performance : Oversee application performance in cloud environments, swiftly addressing issues to maintain availability.

Data Integrity & Security : Implement, test, and monitor safeguards that protect data from unauthorized access.

CI / CD & Automation : Develop pipelines for digital products, utilizing Ansible and Terraform integrated with Azure DevOps, ensuring continuous improvement.

Production Support : Investigate production incidents, produce Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and collaborate on postmortems to enhance reliability.

API Integration : Work with API gateways (e.g., Azure API Manager, IBM Connect) to build and manage robust service integrations.

Collaboration & Communication : Cultivate relationships with security, operations, and IT teams; effectively articulate ideas to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

Azure Cloud expertise, including Kubernetes production environments (AKS).

Familiarity with container-based virtualization (Docker, OCI, Podman).

Integration experience using and building APIs (Azure API Manager, IBM Connect).

Automation skills in Azure DevOps, with build tools like Ansible, and Terraform, and knowledge of DevSecOps.

Prior experience in the public sector or comparable large-scale environments.
