What We Offer Some of our benefits include: Competitive compensation package Performance bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Retirement savings program A safety-focused and team-oriented workplace Position Summary As Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, safe execution of maintenance activities, and long-term asset reliability across terminal operations including conveyors, ship loading systems, bucket elevators, dust collection systems, mobile equipment, and supporting infrastructure.

The successful candidate will lead a skilled maintenance team while partnering closely with operations to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective terminal performance.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all terminal maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, structural, and preventative maintenance programs Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime Supervise maintenance personnel, contractors, and third-party service providers.

Plan and prioritize maintenance work to support terminal operations and vessel schedules Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, spare parts, and capital improvement projects Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and food safety standards Support troubleshooting and rapid response during operational disruptions or equipment failures Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and maintenance best practices Utilize CMMS systems to manage work orders, maintenance records, and asset tracking Participate in shutdown planning and execution Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to support terminal throughput and growth objectives Qualifications Minimum 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within grain handling, bulk material handling, ports, terminals, mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial operations.

Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams.

Strong understanding of conveyors, bucket elevators, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and industrial electrical systems.

Experience with preventative maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance practices.

Working knowledge of CMMS software systems.

Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

Trade certification, engineering degree, or related technical education is considered an asset.
