Hi,

Our client is looking for a Release Manager with a Contract in Vancouver, Canada (Onsite)

(Onsite) below is the detailed requirement.

Position: Release Manager

Location: Vancouver, Canada (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 9+Years of relevant experience .
  • 5+ years of Oracle Unifier configuration and package management experience, is required.
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops an asset.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills is required, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of assigned tasks and delivering high-quality results.
  • CCP, CEP, PMP or other similar designations considered an asset.

On a project assignment:

  • Manage what is happening in each environment
  • Maintain a schedule of events per environment
  • Manage deployment checklist to each environment for each release by release type
  • Emergency Fix
  • Regular bug fix & enhancement monthly release
  • New Feature release
  • Oracle releases (12 per year)
  • Enhance the Release Management Plan
  • Develop a Configuration Management Plan
  • Prepare Release Notes for End Users and recommendations on Training requirements
  • Track and Manage configuration packages and non configuration package changes in each environment
  • Maintain Project Catalog by environment using standard naming convention (use and owner)
  • Manage CAB (Production Change Advisory Board) approval in accordance with TDS Change control standard
  • Satisfy ITGC (IT General Controls) for Release and Configuration Management
