Adecco is currently hiring an Senior Cyber Security IAM Specialist for a full-time contract opportunity in Ottawa, ON. This role is ideal for a seasoned cybersecurity professional with strong experience in IAM, privileged access management, and enterprise security requirements gathering. In this position, you will be responsible for gathering and translating technical and business requirements into IAM solutions that strengthen authentication, access control, and cryptographic security frameworks. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, architecture, and business teams to support the design and implementation of secure, scalable identity and access management capabilities.
- Salary: $125,000 - $180,000 per year

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities- Conduct analysis and documentation of business and technical requirements for IAM capabilities and security control enhancements.
- Define current-state and future-state IAM processes, including dependencies, control points, and implementation considerations.
- Design IAM use cases and support implementation of privileged access, authentication, secrets management, and related security controls.
- Develop metrics, traceability documentation, and reporting inputs to measure IAM program effectiveness.
- Create end-user documentation, process guides, training materials, and visual aids to support adoption of IAM controls.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to support IAM initiatives.
- Support cryptographic and PKI-related initiatives, including inventory, certificate lifecycle management, and crypto-agility planning.
- Facilitate workshops, perform stakeholder analysis, and translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready documentation.
Qualifications- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- University degree or college diploma in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and documentation for security-focused systems.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, PAM, MFA, PKI, secrets management, and cryptographic controls.
- Experience translating risk, compliance, and architectural needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of privileged access governance, authentication methods, and identity lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of certificate lifecycle management and cryptographic standards.
- Familiarity with post-quantum cryptography (PQC) concepts and crypto-agility is an asset.
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to produce process maps, traceability matrices, and detailed documentation.
