What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including regression, performance, and user acceptance testing, to identify and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, provide detailed reports to stakeholders, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Coordinate with developers and product teams to validate functionalities and ensure compliance with requirements/product backlog items.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs, and monitor bug resolution efforts.
- Perform cross-browser, functional, and data validation testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Document processes and other quality assurance activities.
- Work in an agile environment for quality assurance and releases during 2-week sprints.
- Investigate production issues referred by users or editorial and support staff and perform scheduled post-release QA validation off-hours during deployments.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working experience with Defect and Test Management Tools like JIRA and TestRail.
- Experience with executing manual testing.
- Experience writing SQL queries and interacting with SQL databases.
- Hands on experience with automation test tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, JMeter etc.
- Working experience with GitHub.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
