  • Employee ownership opportunities that build long-term value
  • Annual discretionary performance bonuses
  • RRSP, TFSA, Pension Contribution Options
  • Flexible medical, dental and vision benefits
  • Prescription drug coverage and virtual care services
  • Life, AD&D and disability insurance
  • Paid parental leave and family care support
  • Health and lifestyle spending account options
  • Mental health and wellness support, including Employee Assistance Programs
  • Career growth pathways, leadership development and mentorship programs
  • Access to world-class training through PCL's College of Construction and professional development courses
  • Ongoing opportunities to learn new skills, explore different roles and grow your career across sectors and regions

Here's how a Technology Coordinator for PCL Constructors Inc. within Edmonton NAHQ contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end processing of approved technology requests for job sites and districts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards.
  • Receive, validate, and process software license assignments, reassignments, and removals, ensuring entitlements and usage align with internal policies and vendor agreements.
  • Verify that all required business, technical, and financial information is provided prior to processing; return incomplete or non‑standard requests for clarification as needed.
  • Support cost allocation and chargeback processes by ensuring requests include accurate coding, ownership, and attribution details.
  • Maintain transaction‑level documentation to support billing, reconciliation, financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of technology transactions, asset assignments, and approvals to ensure systems of record reflect the current state.
  • Support periodic reviews of license usage, assignments, and recoveries by providing accurate request and transaction history.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for districts and job sites regarding request status, processing steps, timelines, and next actions.
  • Escalate non‑standard requests, exceptions, or policy deviations to senior Technology team members with appropriate context and documentation.
  • Operate within defined procedures and governance controls while identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve request quality, processes, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative, procurement support, technology operations, or IT coordination role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent requests while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and follow‑through.
  • Working knowledge of software licensing concepts, asset tracking, or internal cost recovery processes is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with common business systems, tracking tools, and documentation platforms.
  • Highly organized and process‑driven, with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating within defined standards, approvals, and governance frameworks.
  • Service‑oriented, with a focus on responsiveness, clarity, and reliability.
  • Confident escalating exceptions while preserving context and auditability.
