Job description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for logistics and a "get-it-done" attitude? We are looking for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join a tight-knit, hardworking team in Edmonton. If you have 1–3 years of experience in dispatch or trucking and are looking for a stable, long-term "home" where your efforts are actually noticed, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities
Keep Things Moving: Schedule and coordinate trucking for inbound and outbound freight to ensure pipes are delivered on time.

Be the Point of Contact: Chat with customers, drivers, and suppliers via phone and email to resolve shipping issues quickly.

Problem Solve: Follow up with drivers who are running behind and find solutions to get them back on track.

Stay Organized: Handle essential paperwork, including data entry, filing, scanning, and inventory control support.

Build Relationships: Maintain a reliable base of trucking carriers for new and existing accounts.

Reporting: Prepare accurate updates for management to keep the business running smoothly using Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications
Reliable & Committed: You have a history of staying with employers and are looking for a long-term fit.

Tech-Savvy: You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and can pick up new software platforms quickly.

Composed Under Pressure: You can handle a high volume of calls and busy situations without breaking a sweat.

Proactive: You take initiative, work well independently, and are always willing to learn.

Knowledgeable: You have a basic understanding of transportation regulations in Canada and the USA.
