Job description
Company Overview
Atkinson Landscaping isn’t your average landscaping company — we’re a tight-knit crew that loves building beautiful outdoor spaces and having fun while doing it. From spontaneous idea sessions to team events, we foster a supportive and collaborative environment where your input matters and your work is valued.

We take pride in crafting vibrant, functional, and eye-catching landscapes that wow our clients. As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated individual to take the lead on job sites and help guide our team through high-quality landscape installations.

Position: Landscape Site Lead (Installation Projects)

As a Landscape Site Lead at Atkinson Landscaping, you’ll be right in the thick of it — working hands-on in the field, leading small crews, and keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who knows the tools, understands what great work looks like, and enjoys leading by example.

You’ll play a key role in shaping outdoor spaces, managing the day-to-day workflow on site, and making sure each project hits the mark in terms of quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Take the lead on-site, organizing and guiding a crew through day-to-day tasks like hardscaping, planting, grading, and cleanups

  • Coordinate with designers, your manager, and clients to make sure plans are followed and expectations are met

  • Build patios (pavers or concrete), retaining walls (Allan block or wood), turf, and planting beds with attention to detail and craftsmanship

  • Keep track of materials and tools, ensuring everything is ready to go each day

  • Solve problems on the fly, keep timelines on track, and help train newer crew members

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and safe working environment — you're setting the tone

  • Keep job sites tidy and organized, with an eye for efficiency and high-quality work

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in landscaping, especially in hardscaping and softscaping installs

  • Confidence leading at least one or two team members on-site

  • Hands-on experience building patios, walls, turf installs, and planting

  • A strong eye for quality and pride in a job well done

  • Valid driver's license with a clean record

  • Comfortable working outdoors and handling physical tasks in all weather

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive wage based on your experience

  • Performance-based bonus + company profit sharing

  • Health and dental benefits

  • Regular team events and a fun, supportive work culture

  • Opportunities for growth and skill development

  • A chance to work on exciting, high-impact landscape projects across the Lower Mainland
