Job Title: Intermediate Project Engineer

Job Description

Actalent's EPC client is seeking an intermediate project engineer to support their team in facilitating project growth. This role is pivotal in assisting the development of DBM and SOWs, fostering client relationships, creating process flow diagrams, and providing technical evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of DBM and SOWs.
• Connect with clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Develop and analyze process flow diagrams.
• Conduct technical evaluations.
• Manage 2-5 projects simultaneously, with TIC ranging from low thousands to multimillions.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
• Oversee projects from Pre-Feed to Commissioning stages.
• Engage in Oil & Gas Upstream projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and MOC’s for facilities and pipelines.

Essential Skills

• 4-8 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years as a project engineer.
• Education and/or experience in Process or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with small to mid-size EPCM.
• Proficiency in project engineering, Bluebeam, MOC, mechanical, and process engineering.
• Ability to register as , PTECH, or ASET.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Possession of a certification is advantageous.
• Experience with pipelines, well pads, and oil batteries.
• Soft skills include high horsepower, hands-on approach, clear communication, conflict management, reliability, proactivity, accountability, and task management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $58.00/hr.
