Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Epicor Project Manager to oversee and drive the implementation of Epicor ERP for a manufacturing company. This is a full-time, contract position for an estimated 12+ months, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing ERP implementations, with specific expertise in Epicor ERP in a manufacturing environment.

As the Epicor Project Manager , you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of Epicor ERP across the organization, managing project timelines, resources, and scope, and ensuring alignment with the company's business goals. You will be a key liaison between internal stakeholders, the implementation team, and Epicor consultants to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Epicor ERP implementation project. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and overall project scope.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Maintain clear, frequent communication with key business and IT leaders to ensure project alignment with organizational needs and expectations.
  • Implementation Oversight : Oversee the coordination of Epicor ERP configuration, customization, data migration, testing, and training efforts. Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are met on schedule and within scope.
  • Risk Management : Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues. Develop risk management strategies and solutions to ensure the project remains on track.
  • Change Management : Assist in driving user adoption and organizational change management. Support end-user training and communication to facilitate a smooth transition to Epicor.
  • Vendor Coordination : Work closely with Epicor consultants and external vendors to ensure the delivery of services aligns with the project requirements and timeline.
  • Quality Assurance : Monitor and ensure the quality of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Perform quality checks to verify that all project components meet the desired specifications.
  • Post-Implementation Support : Ensure that post-implementation support is available and that any issues are resolved promptly. Monitor system performance and user satisfaction following go-live.

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience : 5+ years of project management experience, with a focus on ERP implementations, specifically Epicor ERP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project Management Expertise : Proven experience managing large-scale, complex ERP projects with multiple stakeholders. PMP certification or similar project management qualifications are a plus.
  • Epicor ERP Knowledge : Deep understanding of Epicor ERP modules, particularly in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and production.
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience : Strong background in the manufacturing industry, with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, and terminology.
  • Leadership Skills : Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and drive effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills : Familiarity with Epicor ERP tools, methodologies, and integration techniques. Knowledge of data migration processes and system testing best practices.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certifications : PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications.
  • Epicor Certifications : Epicor ERP Certification.
  • Experience with Other ERPs : Experience with other ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
