Your new role

  • Receive iing work orders and follow through to resolution.
  • Respond with urgency to assigned tenant escalations.
  • Urgently respond to incidents, ensuring life, property, and reputation are protected. Support restoration efforts and insurance claims.
  • plete assigned preventative maintenance activities.
  • Obtain multiple quotes for operational repairs as needed.
  • Attend site to assist vendor access as required.
  • plete meter reading tasks on a monthly basis as required.
  • Advise on any discovered equipment issues promptly and follow through to resolution.
  • Ensure all procurement activities follow FCR policy.
  • pletepliance inspections as assigned. Resolvepliance deficiencies as assigned.
  • Utilize existing Operational Technology and assist with the deployment of new initiatives.
  • Update asset inventory data regularly as requested.

Assist with the preparation of building certifications applications. Ensure ongoing requirements are met for current certifications.

  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities and operational updates with Building Operations and Property Management teams.
  • municate regularly with tenants regarding service requests and building-related concerns.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and project work.
  • Resolve tenant and vendor issues, concerns, and escalations as required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Building Operations certification such as BOMI BES Class II or Power Engineer 5th Class designation required.
  • Additional building operations, maintenance, or technical certifications considered an asset.
  • Minimum three (3) years of building operations experience.
  • Experience maintaining mercial, industrial, or multi-residential properties preferred.
  • Experience working with tenants, contractors, and service providers.
  • Strong verbal and written munication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and mobile technology.
  • Experience usingputerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
