Job Summary
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Culture Programs, support the development, coordination, and promotion of high-quality Culture programs and services in performing arts delivered at a variety of art centres, community centres and historical sites across Mississauga.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work within a programming team to plan, develop and implement Culture Programs including but not limited to evening and weekend courses, camps and weekday school programs.
- Provide customer service, resolve issues and communicate changes / cancellations of programs.
- Under the direction of the Supervisor, assist with functional guidance of part-time staff, including evaluations, scheduling, hiring / contracting and training and support with participant behaviour management.
- Manage volunteer, co-op and intern recruitment, training and assist with functional guidance.
- Assist with regular program visits, High Five® Quest 2 program evaluations, program planning and support material development.
- Assist with the development, design and delivery of performing arts programs and camps.
- Assist by liaising with facility staff to ensure spaces are prepared, safe and operational.
- Assist Supervisor with responding to ad-hoc programming requests including workshops, special events and outreach initiatives.
- Provide administrative support including but not limited to part time payroll, program outline review, class lists, program hand-outs and program entry in ActiveNet Recreation Management Software.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory including supply delivery, tracking, and equipment.
- Support the execution of team initiatives including but not limited to annual dance recital events, and competitive dance program.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

Hourly Rate / Salary : $69,080.00 - $92,107.00
