We are seeking a person who is strategically focused on the continual growth and community development of Mount Pearl.
Duties
Under the general supervision of the Director of Planning, Engineering and Development, the Inspection Services Manager provides management leadership and operational oversight for inspection services within the Planning, Engineering and Development portfolio.
The position is responsible for supervising inspection staff; owning inspection‑related resident complaints and follow‑ups; ensuring inspection findings, permit conditions, and compliance requirements are tracked, enforced, and closed; coordinating enforcement actions and high‑risk inspections; developing and implementing operational processes and procedures; supporting system and software implementation; and providing performance reporting and recommendations to senior management.
