This role focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and deliver tailored sales solutions. The Territory Manager develops strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets, while providing exceptional product knowledge and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Brandt is a customer driven company, privately owned and family run, strengthened by diversification and succeeding through specialization. We operate over 170 locations across Canada, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand.

For nine decades, the people of Brandt have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the hardworking people that we serve. And really, there’s no place we’d rather be because just like them, it’s when we’re working hard and getting things done that we’re at our best.

Our success is driven by a passionate belief in the unlimited potential of our company and the ultimate success of our customers and we act on that belief every single day.

That’s Powerful Value, Delivered.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Sell new and used equipment across the designated Area of Responsibility (AOR) to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans by identifying key strategic customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
  • Undertake an average of seven customer visits daily to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers and grow the share of existing customer business through proactive engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams, including Parts and Service, to support customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Travel extensively throughout the AOR to cover all current and prospective account locations effectively.
  • Attend industry events and host customers to promote products, build brand presence, and strengthen client engagement.
  • Keep current on customers’ business activities and changing needs to anticipate and address market opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed customer status reports, including sales call activities and prospect account lists submitted weekly, to support informed sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with Sales Coordinators to schedule equipment check-ins and delivery parameters, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Participate actively in weekly sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed and contribute to team goals.
  • Complete all sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Look For

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, results driven, and professional.
  • Possess strong negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel through the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s license and have a clean Driver’s abstract.
  • Possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
  • Bilingual considered an asset.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation: we offer fair, market-based wages that recognize your skills, experience, and contributions.
  • Continuous Learning: through on-the-job training and educational opportunities.
  • Opportunities for advancement within a growing company that values initiative and teamwork.
  • Comprehensive benefits coverage: including health, dental and more to support your wellbeing.
  • Retirement savings programs: Pension and RRSP programs to help you invest in your future.

When you work for Brandt, we work for you. It’s as simple as that.
