We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Student to support our HR team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced transportation environment.

The Role: The Human Resources Student will assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative support.

This role provides exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, health & safety support, and HR compliance within a safety-sensitive and operationally driven industry.

Responsibilities Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes for drivers and office staff Maintain and update employee files Assist with data entry, reporting, and HR metrics Support health & safety initiatives, training coordination, and compliance documentation Respond to basic employee inquiries and redirect as appropriate Assist with HR projects, policy updates, and process improvements Perform general administrative duties as required Qualifications Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Human Resources, Business Administration, or related program Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Interest in Human Resources within a transportation, logistics, or safety-sensitive industry is an asset Powered by JazzHR
