Position Description
This role is for a professional who enjoys the challenge of developing and maintaining a complete line of Polypropylene and Polystyrene resin sales within North America. That means managing all elements, from negotiating and maintaining supply agreements with key vendors, to evaluating new vendors and broadening the product mix.
As the expert, you will develop and execute on marketing plans relating to the various products, as well as their expense budgets. All the while, providing timely and competitive pricing quotations to our field sales representatives.
Experience
3+ years’ of direct sales, marketing or product management experience within the plastics industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field preferred
- A natural conversationalist, with a keen ability to develop relationships at both the vendors and customer levels
- Excellent communication skills with a working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and CRM
- A motivated self-starter with an attention to detail
- Valid G class driver’s license and a willingness for occasional travel within Canada
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field preferred.
