Position: Physics Chart Analysis Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $72–$80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on physics problems.
Produce original problem sets using experimental data plots, phase diagrams, spectra, and field diagrams.
Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
Annotate tasks to improve AI model outputs and enhance training data quality.
Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD in Physics, MS in Physics with 3+ years research or teaching experience, or BS in Physics with 5+ years tutoring, lab work, or applied physics practice.
Working fluency in at least two of: classical mechanics, E&M, quantum, thermodynamics, optics, experimental methods.
Comfortable interpreting experimental data plots, phase diagrams, spectra, and field diagrams.
Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
