We have a great new opportunity to support one of our clients in a contract capacity!

Please see below for more information on the position and if interested apply with an updated resume aligned to the needs of the role.

Typical day in the role:

Microsoft Licensing Advisory & CSP Management
• Advise internal Sales teams and customers on Microsoft 365 licensing (Business, E3/E5), Security & Compliance add-ons, Teams/Calling/Voice, and Copilot/AI-related SKUs
• Provide expert guidance on NCE commitments, term alignment, seat management, and renewal planning
• Support new business, mid-term adjustments, expansions, and renewals across the CSP portfolio
• Act as the internal escalation point for complex licensing scenarios including multi-tenant environments, M&A events, carve-outs, and mixed contract structures
Licensing Governance & Commercial Accuracy
• Ensure full compliance with Microsoft CSP, NCE, and partner program policies
• Validate deal structures to protect margin, contract duration alignment, and billing accuracy
• Identify and reduce licensing errors, remediation overhead, and revenue leakage
• Maintain documentation standards to support internal and external audit readiness
CoreView Licensing & Tenant Assessments
• Run and interpret CoreView licensing and tenant assessments to identify over/under-licensing risks, security gaps, and configuration issues
• Translate CoreView findings into actionable licensing optimization recommendations, sales opportunities, and funded workshop entry points
• Position CoreView assessments as a standard component of renewal and lifecycle motions
• Partner with Sales, Presales, and Professional Services to map assessment findings to license changes, project opportunities, and managed services
Microsoft Funding Programs & Workshops
• Identify customer eligibility for Microsoft funding programs including Modern Work, Security, Copilot, and AI readiness workshops, and migration/adoption incentives
• Align licensing configurations and customer intent to funding eligibility requirements, and position funded workshops as low-risk modernization entry points
• Act as operational liaison with Microsoft PDMs, SMB/SMC sales teams, and authorized distributor funding teams
• Engage Microsoft early in opportunity cycles to validate funding eligibility, align workshop scope, and confirm SKU prerequisites
• Ensure funded engagements are correctly scoped, program-compliant, and aligned to delivery capacity and margin expectations
Sales Enablement & Pipeline Acceleration
• Serve as a trusted commercial advisor to Sales — coaching on licensing trade-offs, package design, and funding-backed deal strategies
• Use CoreView assessments and Microsoft funding programs to remove buyer friction, create urgency, and accelerate deal velocity
• Support workshop-to-project-to-managed-services conversion motions
Renewal & Lifecycle Management
• Drive proactive renewal motions by surfacing licensing optimization opportunities, funding-backed modernization conversations, and Security/Copilot/AI uplift
• Enable value-led renewal discussions — replacing reactive renewals with strategic lifecycle engagement
• Contribute to churn reduction and renewal growth strategies across the portfolio
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Management
• Partner with Presales and Professional Services to ensure alignment between commercial commitments, funded engagements, and delivery execution
• Stay current on CSP/NCE changes, Microsoft licensing updates, and evolving funding programs
• Contribute to internal licensing playbooks, CoreView assessment guidance, and funding qualification checklists
• Support enablement and coaching of junior licensing and renewal team members

Must have skills

Required
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Microsoft licensing or CSP role within an SMB VAR or Microsoft partner environment
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing constructs (Business, E3/E5, add-ons, Copilot/AI SKUs)
• Solid understanding of New Commerce Experience (NCE) commercial rules, term structures, and seat management
• Hands-on experience running and interpreting CoreView licensing and tenant assessments
• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft funding programs and partner-funded workshops
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting to both technical and commercial audiences
• High attention to commercial detail, governance, and documentation accuracy

Preferred Certifications & Experience
• MS-900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) or AB-900
• SC-900 (Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals) or AZ-900
• CoreView platform certification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Exposure to Microsoft Modern Work, Security, Copilot, or AI solution areas
• Existing relationships with Microsoft PDMs or distributor channel teams
