Job description

Making a difference is at the heart of everything we do. Whether we are helping raise funds for a child's life-saving surgery, supporting abandoned animals, ensuring someone finds a warm shelter, or feeding the hungry, our team delivers hope daily. As a Bilingual Customer Experience Specialist, you will be the voice of compassion, guiding donors and managing essential inquiries for vital non-profit organizations and religious charities.

If you thrive in a tech-comfortable environment, speak fluent Spanish and English, and want your daily work to directly impact communities in need, this is your opportunity. You will start with fully paid, comprehensive training on-site before transitioning into a flexible hybrid model. Join an empathetic, driven team where your language skills and genuine care create a real-world footprint.

Title: Bilingual Customer Support Specialist (Spanish/English)
Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire (Conversion to permanent employment after required hours are completed)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Training: Paid initial training conducted on-site (Winnipeg) until fully operational
Workplace Model: Hybrid (On-site during initial training; post-training remote work with a requirement to attend the Winnipeg office twice a month and for client visits)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
Pay Rate: $19.50 CAD per hour
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Advantages
Major Canadian institutions frequently use agencies as their exclusive point of entry—a contract is often the premier "test drive" leading to a permanent position.

Through this contract-to-hire opportunity, you will also receive access to the Randstad Advantage:

Access to competitive optional health and benefits insurance

Weekly automated timesheets with reliable, direct pay

A 4% accrued vacation pay structure

Upon permanent conversion with the client, you unlock comprehensive corporate benefits including extended health, vision, and dental coverage, an RRSP program, paid time off, Short and Long-Term Disability options, and structured internal career advancement paths.

Responsibilities
Compassionate Donor Engagement: Handle incoming calls, chats, and emails with empathy to educate donors and support essential fundraising campaigns.

Multichannel Communication Management: Respond to customer inquiries across digital platforms including email and live chatrooms while maintaining detailed interaction records.

Transaction & System Navigation: Process donor contributions accurately using secure software while concurrently managing multiple digital platforms and web tools.

Service Excellence & Resolution: Answer inquiries regarding client services, doctrine, and programs while escalating complex issues according to established protocols.

Goal Achievement: Meet daily call-handling targets and performance metrics to support the long-term sustainability of partner charitable organizations.

Qualifications
Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in both Spanish and English.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute alongside strong computer navigation skills.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-screen digital environment.

Clear criminal background check result upon offer.

Dedicated home workspace equipped with high-speed wired internet (100 Mbps download / 30 Mbps upload via Ethernet), two monitors, a noise-canceling USB headset, a webcam, and a smartphone.

Personal PC or laptop running Windows 11 with at least 16 GB RAM, Intel Core i5 processor or higher, and a 250 GB SSD (Mac, Chromebooks, and tablets are not supported).
