As a valued Order Picker Forklift Operator, you will be an integral component of our daily warehouse functions. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the following :

Skilled Forklift Operation : Proficiently operate an Order Picker Forklift, demonstrating safe and efficient material handling techniques while navigating both narrow and standard-width aisles.

Accurate Order Fulfillment : Execute precise order picking and fulfillment tasks by accurately using RF scanning technology to maintain exceptional inventory control and accuracy.

Manual Material Handling : Perform physical duties, including the safe lifting and handling of items weighing up to 50 lbs.

System Navigation : Experience with wire-guided forklift systems for optimized navigation and efficiency is considered a strong asset.

Safety and Compliance : Uphold all workplace health and safety standards by performing daily pre-operational inspections on equipment and adhering strictly to established safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.

Warehouse Organization : Contribute to operational excellence by consistently maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work station and surrounding areas.

Collaborative Teamwork : Support seamless team operations by assisting with general warehouse duties and other tasks as required by operational needs.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications to thrive in this role :

Order Picker Experience : A minimum of six months of recent, practical experience operating an Order Picker forklift is required.

High-Volume Environment Proficiency : Demonstrated ability to perform effectively and efficiently within a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or distribution centre setting.

Required Certifications : Must possess a valid, externally issued forklift license with a specific certification for the Order Picker machine. A current Fall Arrest certification is also mandatory.

Physical Stamina : The physical capacity to consistently and safely lift and manage items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Meticulous Attention to Detail : A strong commitment to accuracy, precision, and upholding all workplace safety protocols.

Preferred Skills : Previous experience utilizing wire guidance systems is considered a significant asset, although it is not a mandatory requirement.

Professional References : Successful candidates will be required to provide professional references as part of the formal hiring process.
