Job Description
Our client, IDrinkCoffee.com, is hiring a high-impact Branch Operations Manager to join their growing, industry leading organization. This role will be managing operations for the multiple aspects of the business, which includes a small inside sales, warehouse, and maintenance shop team.

As a Canadian company, through multiple channels, including their showroom and e-commerce site, they provide an unparalleled selection of the finest coffee equipment, espresso machines, and accessories. Their simple principle is to bring fresh high-quality coffee to the masses.

Who are you? An entrepreneurial leader who will take full ownership for the operations of their Calgary location. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who doesn't just manage from the sidelines. You will be responsible for managing a small team, maintaining company policy/procedures, high store standards and daily productivity, while ensuring the brand experience remains premium and consistent. Externally, you will comfortable attending networking events, participating in community efforts, and other core efforts to develop the brand in the Calgary market.

Competitive Salary: $75,000 base salary
Incentive Structure: Uncapped performance-based bonuses with a target total earnings potential of $115,000 for the first year.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (Full-Time)
Saturdays: Most will be required as well.

Travel:
This role will be primarily working in the physical Calgary location. One must be able to travel to community events as needed or to the Ontario location for training/meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Take full accountability for the branch's daily functions, ensuring high levels of efficiency and organization.
  • Team Leadership: Provide firm, fair, and proactive management to the team; addressing hurdles immediately and maintaining high performance standards.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as the primary representative for the brand on-site, engaging with customers at the counter, resolving escalations, and maintaining the company's reputation for excellence. Also, servicing as the face of the branch in the local community.
  • Strategic Execution: Implement proper management workflows to optimize productivity and ensure the location operates like a well-oiled machine. Consistency is key.
  • Performance Management: Monitor operational outcomes and use an entrepreneurial mindset to identity areas for growth and improvement. Ongoing tracking of KPIs for the department as a whole, along with individual team members.
  • Product Knowledge: Be active in building your own personal knowledge of coffee products, while maintaining up-to-date information on new equipment and rolle for use by team.
