⚠️ Important Note on Physical Demands: This is a very labor-intensive position that requires consistent, heavy physical labor. You must be comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy objects throughout the entirety of your shift.

Pay Rate: $23/hour

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Duration: 3-Month Contract (with strong potential for extension)

Advantages
Predictable Full-Time Hours: Enjoy a stable, continuous Monday-to-Friday schedule with absolutely no rotating or weekend shifts.

Great Shift for Commuters: The 9:00 AM start time allows you to completely bypass the hectic early-morning rush hour traffic.

Contract-to-Hire Potential: This is a solid 3-month contract position with a strong opportunity for extensions based on performance and business needs.

Paid Breaks: Includes a structured 9-hour workday with a 30-minute lunch and two paid 15-minute rest breaks.

Gain Industry Clearance: Perfect opportunity to secure a formal Reliability Status Security Clearance, adding massive value to your professional portfolio.

Active Work Environment: Stay highly active on the job—perfect for individuals who dislike sitting at a desk and prefer a physical, fast-paced role.

Responsibilities
Order Processing & Fulfillment: Accurately read labels, process incoming/outgoing orders, and utilize a proprietary computer system alongside handheld RF scanners to track inventory locations.

Material Handling: Load, move, and organize storage boxes, bins, and totes manually, as well as safely operating material handling aids such as hand carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.

Palletization: Safely load boxes onto pallets and shrink-wrap them at ground level or on specialized carts.

Facility Navigation: Move inventory across uneven or concrete surfaces, up and down inclines, and utilize ladders to pull or store boxes in high-bay racking.

Qualifications
Exceptional Physical Capability: Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move boxes weighing between 24 lbs to 100 lbs completely without assistance for prolonged periods.

Mobility: Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, crawl, stoop, twist, and bend forward frequently throughout a 9-hour shift.

Heights Comfort: Able to safely climb and balance on warehouse ladders.

Literacy: Must be able to fluently read, write, and understand English to process order slips and track inventory.

Tech Comfort: Comfortable learning and navigating basic computer systems and scanning equipment.

Summary
If you are reliable, physically fit, and ready to take on a stable new role in Burnaby, we want to hear from you!

Please apply directly to this job posting with your updated resume highlighting your warehouse, logistics, or physical labor experience. Qualified candidates will be contacted promptly for an interview.
