Position : Permanent Full-Time
Shift : Night
Location : Sterling Rd., Toronto, ON
Rate : $48 / hr
Experience / Qualifications :
- Food manufacturing / manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Operating Engineer, preferably 3rd Class (Mandatory)
- Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic
- Excellent mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Support plant production operations by operating and maintaining industrial service equipment to meet process standards.
- Effectively understand, operate and maintain all refrigeration equipment in the factory including Ammonia & Chiller plants, air handling units, air compressors, steam plant and all related government standards and regulations.
- Interpret, troubleshoot and operate the required computer systems providing accurate and timely information to efficiently operate all industrial services equipment.
- Support and / or back-up other HVAC mechanics as needed with factory operations.
- Adhere to and enforce Health & Safety OHSAS 18001, Environmental ISO14001, and Quality FSSC 22000 / NQMS programs.
