Our Calgary client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team for an initial 3-month contract. In this role, you will act as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring strategic goals align with project outcomes. Responsibilities
Establish relationships with business stakeholders and facilitate workshops to uncover core needs
Analyze current-state business processes to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
Translate complex business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications
Develop comprehensive business cases, success criteria, and value realization frameworks
Collaborate closely with technical delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business goals
Support User Acceptance Testing activities, change management, and end-user business readiness
Track requirements across the project lifecycle and assist with post-implementation reviews

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
Five or more years of proven experience in a dedicated business analyst role
Strong background in business process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements elicitation
Proven expertise working within both Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks
Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, manage change, and facilitate strategic alignment
