ABOUT THE ROLE You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a concrete batch plant. This includes managing concrete mixer drivers and overseeing plant maintenance. Your goal is to ensure the timely delivery of a quality product, ultimately driving customer satisfaction. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Health and Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. Correct safety issues immediately when possible, and offer employees coaching on safe work practices. Ensure all aspects of the role are executed in a safe manner. Environment: Demonstrate a commitment to meet/exceed environmental compliance. Responsible for scheduling concrete deliveries, providing pricing to customers, and ordering raw material as required for production. Ensure accurate batching to produce a quality product to meet customer requirements. Operations Analysis and Action Tracking: Track performance, establish effective action plans, and continuously improve operations. Manage the batching of concrete mixers, scheduling, and order entry. Oversee the opening, closing, and daily checks of the ready mix plant. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: High School. Experience : 1-2 years as a Supervisor in a Union environment. Ready Mix experience is considered an asset. Skills: Excellent reading and writing skills. Travel: Minimal requirements. Additional Requirements: Ability to work Overtime as needed. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
