QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Certification with minimum 5 years' post-certification experience
Previous post secondary teaching experience in Apprenticeship Training
Experience using Learning Management Systems
Served in a recognized apprenticeship program
Proficient in the operation of machine shop equipment such as the lathe, milling machine, surface grinder, etc.
Excellent communication skills
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Assets:

Provincial Instructor's Diploma or Education Degree
Supervisory/Management experience
Machinist Red Seal Certification
