Job descriptionPerform routine maintenance and repairs associated on various machinery in a manufacturing environment Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical maintenance Use and interpret schematics and blueprints related to plant equipment Practice and maintain standard operating procedures and remain compliant with all quality, safety, production and environmental rules, standards and regulations Maintain accurate up-to-date maintenance database records Demonstrated working knowledge of lock out tag out and confined space entry. Install, troubleshoot and repair compressed air systems and hydraulic systems Experience with rigging of equipment, set-up and alignment of machinery and equipment Review work assignments and job procedures to ensure safe and reliable work execution Maintain plant equipment at optimum efficiency Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent Hold a valid 433A certificate of qualification – Industrial Mechanic or another skilled trade with equivalent experience Min 1 year millwright experience in a manufacturing environment Own tools required Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, technical and communication skills Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Industrial Mechanic - Millwrights for an upcoming assignment in the GTA
This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 4days per week when assigned to a project.
You will earn :
- 60.00 per hour before overtime
- 30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
- Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
- Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)
- Flight Provided (when required)
- Contract Duration is 1-120 days
