About RCS
Recovery Counselling Services (RCS) is a well-established association of experienced, compassionate specialists dedicated to providing timely and professional outpatient counselling for chemical and process addictions. Located in Toronto, Ontario, RCS serves adolescents, young adults, adults, and families impacted by substance use and addictive behaviors.

Work Experience
We are seeking a Masters-Level Social Worker (Qualifying or Registered) or a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying or Registered) with a specialization and experience in addiction counselling. The ideal candidate will bring both professional expertise and a commitment to supporting individuals and families through recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate intake and assessment processes, ensuring timely and professional client engagement.
- Provide individual counselling for addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns.
- Conduct initial phone intakes within 24 hours of client inquiries, including potential crisis management.
- Perform comprehensive client assessments to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with family members during feedback sessions or family therapy, aligning with RCS’s family-centered approach.
- Engage in case management, coordinating with community partners such as treatment centers, educational consultants, residential care providers, and other professionals involved in client care.
- Attend bi-weekly team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
