Are YOU our next Walking Courier?As a Walking Courier, you play a crucial role for Dynacare and act as a true representative of the company. You are responsible for the pickup and safe delivery of medical samples, reports and supplies between various locations, These samples have important medical outcomes and treatments for physicians and patients, so we rely on the efficiency, accuracy, and careful transport of our couriers. Even seconds of delay can make a lasting difference to a client’s healthcare needs. This role not only allows you to make a real impact in your work, but also lets you do so while having flexibility in your daily life.

How YOU will make a difference:

• Being super-attentive to detail in ensuring all samples are picked up as scheduled for clients
• Ensure all specimens, coolers and boxes are picked up and delivered on time as scheduled.
• Complete pickup and delivery of medical specimens between designated locations (ie. client offices, hospitals, and other sites as required).
• Transportation of specimens will require use of a flatbed cart.
• Follow stop sequences, times, and instructions as per route plan.
• Proactively communicate to Dispatch and Operations Managers for any concerns or deviation to route plan while on route.
• Learn and utilize logistics mobile technology to track shipments and route progress.
• Act as the representative of the company and must be courteous, informative, and professional at all times

What YOU bring to the role:

• Youbring a positive approach and a friendly attitude combined with a laser-focus on quality
• 1 year of previous walking courier experience
• Secondary school or equivalent education required
• Clear understanding of routes and geography
• Ability to work with mobile technology and apps
• Required to lift, carry and transport specimens from different locations; up and down stairs and in and out of buildings
• Ability to walk continuous long distances while using flatbed cart to pick-up and deliver specimen totes and bags
• Physically able and can lift up to 50 pounds (
• Comfortable walking in all weather conditions in the city
• Strong teamwork skills, but you can work independently while being punctual and reliable

Working Conditions:

• Required to lift, carry and transport specimens from different locations, up and down stairs and in and out of buildings.
• Ability to walk continuous long distances while using flatbed cart to pick-up and deliver specimen totes and bags.
• Physically able and can lift up to 50 pounds (
• Comfortable walking in all weather conditions in the city

Pay rate: $18.50 - $21.00 per hourThe hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
