Job description
As the Community Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the brand’s social presence. Beyond just posting content, you will be responsible for fostering a vibrant online community, driving audience growth, and humanizing the brand through meaningful interactions. You will work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager and a dynamic team of five to elevate the brand's digital footprint across all major social platforms.

Advantages
High Growth Potential: This contract has a high potential for extension or conversion to a Permanent Full-Time (FTE) position.

Career Impact: As a "net-new" role, you have the unique opportunity to shape the community management strategy from the ground up.

Prime Location: Work out of a state-of-the-art office at 81 Bay Street, Toronto, in a flexible hybrid model (2–3 days in-office).

Collaborative Environment: Join a tight-knit, supportive team of experts dedicated to digital innovation.

Responsibilities
Audience Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to comments and messages. Initiate proactive conversations on other relevant social feeds to increase brand visibility.

Content Publishing: Schedule and publish content across YouTube, Google, Meta (Facebook), TikTok, and Instagram, ensuring maximum reach and brand consistency.

Community Building: Develop relationships with followers, advocates, and influencers. Encourage user-generated content and support online events or contests.

Expert Copywriting: Write compelling, authentic copy for posts, stories, and community interactions that align with the brand’s unique tone.

Analytics & Strategy: Use Hootsuite and Sprinklr to track engagement metrics, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategies based on data.

Qualifications
Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in community management or social media (Agency experience is a plus).

Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of YouTube, Google, Meta/Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with social media management tools, specifically Hootsuite and Sprinklr.

Communication: Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different platforms and audience segments.

Soft Skills: An empathetic, creative, and proactive mindset. You should be resourceful in addressing challenges and seizing viral opportunities.

Bilingualism (Bonus): Fluency in French and an understanding of the Quebec market is considered a strong asset.

Summary
This is an exciting 12-month contract for a social-savvy professional who thrives on connection. If you are a creative thinker with a passion for building digital communities and want to work with a brand that is redefining the banking experience, we want to hear from you.
