Job Title: Plate Roll or Metal Fabrication Machine Operator (Bertsch 3-Point Plate Rolls)
Location: Brampton, ON
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Shift: Day Shift Monday to Friday (7:00 AM 4:30 PM | Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $20 $28 per hour (Based on experience)
We are currently seeking experienced Plate Roll Operators with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience
operating Bertsch 3-Point Plate Rolls and will work closely with skilled trades in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.
Set up and safely operate Bertsch 3-Point Plate Rolls
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Perform layout and mark dimensions on metal plates as required
Complete all required production paperwork accurately
Ensure proper handling and forming of various material grades
Operate lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Follow all company safety policies and Ontario/regional regulations
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Plate Roll Operator
Hands-on experience with Bertsch 3-Point Plate Rolls
Strong ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings
Knowledge of different material grades and forming techniques
Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills (verbal and written English)
High attention to detail and accuracy
