We’re growing and currently looking for a Loader Operator to join our Edmonton team immediately. This is a temporary role (up to 3 months) supporting yard and logistics operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Scope of Role

As a Loader Operator, you will support yard operations by safely and efficiently moving pipe and materials while ensuring accuracy in inventory and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload tubular pipe onto trucks using a loader
• Assist with offloading railcars and handling incoming materials
• Work closely with yard labourers and drivers to coordinate movement of goods
• Perform material handling tasks (counting, sorting, staging, packing/unpacking)
• Ensure accuracy of inventory and picking slips
• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues
• Support yard cleanliness, maintenance, and general operations
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years of loader operator experience, specifically with tubular/pipe products
• Experience in industrial yard or pipe/casing environments
• Rubber Tire Loader (CAT 966 with pipe clamps) experience required
• Valid Loader Operator License
• Working at Heights certification
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and being on your feet throughout the shift

Additional Requirements

• Comfortable working around heavy equipment and at heights
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible for overtime or weekend work when required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Must successfully complete a company paid crminal recod search and drug & alcohol test
