Adecco is currently hiring a Warehouse Loader for a full-time opportunity within a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment in Mount Pearl, NL.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, trailer loading, shipping and receiving, pallet handling, material handling, and inventory control. As a Warehouse Loader, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately loaded, shipments are prepared correctly, and daily warehouse operations run efficiently.

• Pay Rate: $21.30/hour

• Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM

Responsibilities:
Loading & Shipping Operations

• Load outbound trailers accurately and efficiently according to route and delivery schedules.
  
• Verify pallets, quantities, and customer orders before loading.
  
• Ensure products are loaded in the correct sequence for delivery routes.
  
• Assign freight and pallets to appropriate staging areas when required.
  
• Confirm all pallets are loaded onto the correct trailer.
  
• Maintain pallet control records and shipping documentation.
  

Trailer & Equipment Inspection

• Complete daily mobile equipment inspections before use.
  
• Perform pre-loading inspections and safety checks.
  
• Verify trailers are prepared correctly for loading.
  
• Ensure temperature-controlled trailers are set to appropriate operating conditions.
  
• Monitor trailer readiness and communicate concerns to the shipping team.
  

Inventory & Documentation

• Record pallet counts, trailer information, mileage, and shipping data.
  
• Maintain daily trailer logs and pallet control documentation.
  
• Report loading discrepancies, shortages, and shipping issues.
  
• Support inventory accuracy by recording pallet movements and reporting activities.
  

Warehouse Operations

• Operate pallet jacks and warehouse material handling equipment safely.
  
• Move and stage freight throughout the warehouse.
  
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse functions.
  
• Support overall warehouse productivity and operational efficiency.
  
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 1-3 years of warehouse, distribution centre, shipping & receiving, or loading experience.
  
• Previous trailer loading experience is considered an asset.
  
• Experience operating pallet jacks and warehouse equipment is considered an asset.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Ability to follow procedures and shipping instructions.
  
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting, moving, and loading products.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Reliable transportation is required.
  
• Experience in logistics, freight handling, distribution, or inventory operations is considered an asset.
  
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
