Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada, is looking to hire a FS Developer - Java + Angular for a long term opportunity at Mississauga, ON (Hybrid) .

Our Client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 17 million clients and has more than 89,000 employees worldwide. It serves individual consumers, small and middle‑market businesses, and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk‑management products and services.

Location : Mississauga, ON (Hybrid Role – 4 Days in Office / week)

Duration : 6+ Month Contract to hire

Qualifications

  • 7‑10 years experience with Java software development; Spring Boot (2.x) development of REST APIs and developing enterprise‑level microservices.
  • UI experience is highly desirable.
  • Some experience building and operating applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (or similar Cloud environments).
  • Experience working in an Agile development team.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools (eg : Jenkins, GitHub, Automated Testing tools, or similar tools).
  • Some experience with event‑driven architecture (Eg : Apache Kafka).
  • Some experience with database management platform like HDFS, DB2 and SQL.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Insurance industry (Life, Disability, Wealth) would be an asset.
  • Some experience with APIGEE API publishing to both internal and external partners.
  • Experience with Swagger Codegen, Apache CXF.
  • Experience with Angular 4+
  • Familiarity with IBM Security Access Manager, IBM WebSphere Application Server.
  • Experience building and operating applications on Openshift / Azure.
