SUMMARY - Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)
Our client is a leading manufacturing supplier supporting one of Canada's largest manufacturers and recognized as a regional top employer. This organization is seeking a temporary Forklift Operator (Counterbalance) to support production, inventory movement, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will operate forklift while contributing to safety, quality, and on-time delivery performance. The position will be in the Stratford, ON, with positions on multiple shifts available, pays $22.71, added applicable shift premiums, and will have competitive overtime rates. QUALIFICATIONS - Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)
- Previous experience operating counter-balance forklifts, tuggers, or material handling equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and rotate through multiple logistics and production support functions
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to support overtime requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
RESPONSIBILITIES - Forklift Operator (Counterbalance)
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Transport materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility
- Support receiving, shipping, inventory control, and production supply activities
- Load and replenish production areas with required materials and components
- Move finished products to shipping and staging areas
- Perform tote picking, part delivery, and inventory replenishment
- Verify inventory accuracy and report shortages or discrepancies
- Follow inventory practices and standard operating procedures
- Assist with shipment preparation and loading activities
- Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain compliance with all PPE requirements and safety policies
