Job Description & Summary

At PwC our people in cybersecurity focus on protecting organisations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. They work to identify vulnerabilities develop secure systems and provide proactive solutions to safeguard sensitive data.

In threat intelligence and vulnerability management at PwC you will focus on identifying and analysing potential threats to an organisations security as well as managing vulnerabilities to prevent cyber attacks. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information and enabling the resilience of digital infrastructure.

Meaningful work youll be part of

In threat intelligence and vulnerability management at PwC y oull work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve business issues deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency . Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Conduct research on emerging threats vulnerabilities and zero-day attacks to develop rule logic

Perform use case coverage assessments and implement new use cases based on MITRE ATT&CK TTPs

Maintainand enhance the SIEM use case library for DRC clients

Lead use case workshops to tune andoptimize client SIEM environments

Test and document use cases before production deployment ensuring adherence to test procedures

Tune existing use cases based on client feedback or threat investigator recommendations

Create use case design documents and investigation playbooks

Track and action all use case tuning requestsin a timely manner Review and update playbooks and documentation periodically for accuracy and relevance

Define and track key risk indicators performance metrics and compliance metrics

Experiences and skills youll use to solve

Minimum 6 years of experience in Information Technology

Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Security

Prior experience with SIEM platforms : ArcSight Splunk LogRhythm Azure Sentinel Exabeam Elastic QRadar LogScale

Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals threat intelligence and SIEM technologies

Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat detection methodologies

Knowledge of system development lifecycle server platforms networks and vulnerability assessments

Proficiencyin Linux system configuration and networking protocols (TCP SSL authentication OpenSSL Apache)

Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Azure AWS) and Firebase services

Understanding of machine learning foundations and data representation formats (JSON YAML)

Familiarity with source control tools (Git TFS) and DevOps technologies (Azure DevOps GitHub CI / CD)

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range

• for this position is $ 109700.00 plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills experience qualifications and geographic location.
