Job description
We are looking for a high-impact Employment Specialist who is as passionate about people as they are about process. This role is a unique hybrid of front-line client support and back-end program development. You won’t just be executing existing programs; you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, using your insights to pivot, refine, and improve how we serve our community.

Advantages
- $32 per hour
-Monday to Friday 8-4:30pm
- Benefits after three months
- 3 weeks vacation

Responsibilities
1. High-Touch Client Support

- Serve as the primary liaison for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing empathetic, resourceful, and timely assistance.

- Resolve complex escalations by identifying root causes and navigating organizational barriers to find a "yes."

- Maintain a high standard of service that reflects our commitment to dignity and inclusion.

2. Program Evaluation & Improvement

- Regularly audit program workflows to identify bottlenecks or areas where client needs are not being met.

- Translate qualitative client feedback into actionable recommendations for the leadership team.

- Assist in the rollout of new initiatives, ensuring that internal systems are updated and optimized for efficiency.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

-Work seamlessly across departments (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Operations) to ensure program goals are aligned with broader organizational objectives.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, community partners, and vendors.

Who You Are (Required Competencies)

- Problem-Solver: You don't just follow a manual; you write a better one. You are flexible in responding to the changing needs of clients and are comfortable "building the plane while flying it" when organizational needs shift.
- Collaborator: You understand that "silos" are the enemy of impact. You have a proven ability to work effectively within teams and inspire various stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Advocate: You bring a deep awareness and sensitivity to multicultural issues. You are skilled at navigating diverse backgrounds and ensuring that every client feels seen, heard, and respected.
- Professional: You have the emotional intelligence to handle high-pressure situations and setbacks. You maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude even when faced with systemic challenges.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements

-Education: Bachelor’s degree in [Insert Field, e.g., Social Work, Business Admin, Communications] or equivalent professional experience.
-Experience: 3–5 years in a client-facing role, ideally within program management or social services
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in [CRM software, e.g., Salesforce], project management tools, and data reporting.
-Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "read the room" and adapt your style to the audience.
